Recruiting Scientific Fishing Observers

PROMARINHA is a company based in Lisbon, responsible for recruiting scientific Fishing Observers, that will have the possibility of embarking on Spanish and Portuguese fishing vessels.

We will hold a training session for observers on April 3, 2025 at the Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique (ENIDH), located in Paço D'Arcos, Lisbon.

The training will feature speakers and guests from the Infante D. Henrique Nautical School, SEGEPESCA, General Directorate of Natural Resources, Security and Maritime Services (DGRM), among others.

It will be taught in Portuguese/Spanish and is free, but it will not be online.

There are no mandatory requirements, although it would be a plus if you have training in the area or if you have already embarked.

However, attending training is a mandatory requirement if you want to board fishing vessels.
